I started the ACTIVE KIDS, because although I was born and raised in Danville and have lived in Pleasanton for 10 years, until I became a mom, I wasn't familiar with any kid-related business. Aside from Babies R Us, I was a bit lost! I wanted to create a directory specifically targeted to the East Bay/680 corridor that included anything and everything kids (with a little for mommy too!). I also wanted to offer smaller businesses a cost-effective marketing vehicle where they could gain awareness for their companies.

tons of fun and unique products and services, from music classes, boutiques, play places,
