Fix it Friday Photo Challenge
It’s “Fix-It Friday” over at I Heart Faces! We all get to edit the same photo, and then we get to learn new editing tips and tricks from each other. This week’s photo is from Rachel Durik of Savor Photography. The first thing I did was crop it to be a little closer. To make sure everyone would be able to use my editing style on this photo, I used a free action from Coffeeshop, named Perfect Portrait Photo. I decreased some of the darkness from under her eyes by using the healing brush tool, and also created an extra layer and brushed on the color of her skin at low opacity. I used new adjustment layer, Selective color and popped all of the available colors. I used a unsharp mask, and sharpened her freckles so they were enhanced. Then I used a Levels adjustment layer to adjust the overall contrast. And there you have it. On the second edit, I converted it to B&W.
